In fact all Canmorites (or Canmorons, as some like to call us!) come from somewhere else. Whether you’re from Calgary, Edmonton, BC, Ontario, Quebec, maybe even the US, the UK, Germany or Asia, you’ll feel right at home in this mountain community. People from all backgrounds and walks of life call Canmore “home”, and I’m very lucky to be one of them.

I was born in Poland. Ever since I can remember, my parents were on a quest for a better life and I am the privileged one to benefit from it. Before settling in Edmonton in 1992, we had a number of stops along the way, including various parts of Europe and North America, giving me an appreciation for other cultures and environments.

I attended the University of Alberta and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. Following that I gained experience in several fields, including insurance and banking, before moving to Canmore and embarking on a new career in real estate. I love the mountains and the variety of activities they permit; that made this town an easy choice for me. I can’t think of a better place to live and work with a lifestyle and environment few places can offer. It’s also an ideal place to own a dog. My German Pointer Morrison loves it here and we both enjoy many hours outside exploring the terrain.
